Singer Jason Derulo was filmed joining a brawl outside of West Hollywood nightclub Bootsy Bellows early Sunday morning. The fight was captured by TMZ, and the clip begins with a seemingly stunned Derulo being restrained by a female companion on the bordering sidewalk as participants exchange blows. Roughly 45 seconds into the video, Derulo is seen alone maneuvering around a row of parked cars and joining the fracas.

Derulo is caught engaging with two fighting participants, and the singer kneeled down to strike one of the unidentified members before being restrained again. Given the length of the video, it is unclear if Derulo was initially struck and went to deliver some retaliatory blows. Law enforcement officials also arrived on the scene, and according to TMZ, L.A. County Sheriff's deputies armed with stun bag rifles were deployed. As authorities deescalated the situation and the crowd dispersed, Derulo was taken to a nearby car.

In September of 2015, Derulo made headlines for an excessive noise citation during a party at his residence. TMZ reported Derulo’s neighbors complained of loud music and nearly 200 cars from guests blocking nearby streets.

It is unknown if Derulo’s involvement in Sunday’s fight will lead to any formal charges, and the singer has yet to publicly comment on the matter. Derulo is most known for the hit singles “Watcha Say,” “Talk Dirty,” “In My Head,” “Want To Want Me” and “Wiggle,” which have all reached the top five on Billboard’s “Hot 100” singles chart.
