In what turned out to be a terribly ill-timed move, Ray J has just released his long-threatened response to Kanye West's song and video "Famous," a track also called "Famous" that features harsh shots at Ray's ex Kim Kardashian and her family.

The song is a sequel of sorts to Ray J's 2013 song and video "I Hit It First," also aimed at Kim and Kanye. "Famous," which is produced by Drumma Boy and features Chris Brown on the hook, makes clear reference to Ray J and Kim K's sex tape, which leaked in 2007. Ray J was also reportedly angered by Kanye's "Famous" video, which features a naked likeness of the r&b singer. "You can’t fault me and Chris for responding to all the things that have been done about us over the last few months," Ray J told Bilboard last month.

The song seems to makes oblique reference to Kim Kardashian's recent robbery in Paris, with its line "Gotta stay strapped while you walk around now." But that's far from the worst of it. Ray J goes for the whole Kardashian clan: "She fucked me for fame, look in her eyes," he sings. "She was the first one to sign on the line/She was the real one to plan it all out/Look at the family, they walk around proud/All because she had my dick in her mouth."

This was perhaps not the best timing for a Kardashian diss: "Famous" was released within moments of the announcement that Kanye West had been hospitalized. The song is only the latest in a series of Ray's attempts to troll Kim K. He reportedly sent Kim a wedding gift of four months' profit from their sex tapebrought a Kim K lookalike to 106 & Park; and, of course, was responsible for the incredibly creepy video for "I Hit It First."

You can, if you are so inclined, check out "Famous" below or buy it on iTunes.
