Long Beach rapper Vince Staples has joined the ranks of DJ Khaled, Travis Scott, Q-Tip, Pharrell, and more with his very own Beats 1 Radio show that’s debuting right now.

Staples’ new show is called “S E A (Section Eight Arthouse) Broadcast System,” and it will air on the third Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. ET. Sunday’s inaugural episode is a special premiere that was announced when Staples filled in for Zane Lowe earlier this month.

In the trailer, Staples is narrating a video where he wakes up in a house near the beach and contemplates his deepest thoughts. “I wake up everyday to the sounds of questions,” he begins. Staples then tries to make sense of life’s unexpected turns (past mistakes, future goals, finding a balance) before leaving viewers with an anecdote about a person asking him an important question.

“How do you take control of something before it becomes too much?” he recalls. “Whether it’s life, love, your surroundings, music, anything—how do you stop it from consuming you? My answer is to kill it.”

A press release about Section Eight Arthouse Broadcast System notes that it’ll be “pirate radio-style broadcast full of music and interviews curated by Vince and designated to illuminate and distract the mind.” You’ll definitely want to add this show into your rotation.
