Complex's latest cover star, Pusha T, has come to Desiigner's defense against critics in his new and very honest interview.

"I don't subscribe to anything or anybody who speaks ill of anybody on the label, especially Desiigner," he tells Complex. "I want ground-breaking creativity," which he said he has found in the G.O.O.D. Music signee. "This is another moral obligation that I feel I need to bring to the game."

Pusha's been in the music industry for nearly 20 years and was appointed president of G.O.O.D. Music by label founder Kanye West back in 2015. A few months later, Desiigner signed to the label and quickly gained traction thanks to the growing success of his then underground hit, "Panda," but the rapper was simultaneously taking a lot of shots—namely that he sounded too much like Future.

"God gave him a blessing, but he gave me a blessing too," Desiigner previously told Complex about people comparing him to Future. "I'm not a hater or a critic on him, you know, I do me. God bless him, God bless me."

"Panda" went on to become the No. 1 song on the country, making Desiigner the first NYC rapper with a No. 1 since Jay Z's 2009 hit, "Empire State of Mind."
