UPDATE (12/31/16):
Two men are reportedly dead and two others are wounded following the Friday night shooting at a Meek Mill concert in Wallingford, Connecticut, according to reports. Authorities are not directly linking the concert to the shooting and are currently looking for leads and suspects connected to the incident. The two victims who suffered injuries are expected to survive.
“The two males who survived the shooting have non-life threatening injures and were transported to Hartford Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital, Wallingford,” reports ABC News, citing a statement from Wallingford Police Lt. Cheryl Bradley.
According to Bradley, an attendee at the concert called 911 from outside the venue while attending to one of the victims who sustained the gunshot wound in the leg. This was when local authorities learned the total number of victims and determined the violent outburst happened outside of the Oakdale Theater near the closing of the event.
