The Weeknd's Daft Punk-assisted "Starboy" is finally the No. 1 song in the country, reports Billboard.

The title track of Weeknd's latest album sat in the No. 2 spot for eight weeks in the shadow of Rae Sremmurd and Gucci Mane's explosive "Black Beatles."

The jump to the top spot earns Weeknd his third No. 1 single on the Hot 100 and Daft Punk their first. Previously, The Weeknd topped the list with Beauty Behind the Madness' "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills." Meanwhile, Daft Punk had only ever reached the No. 2 spot on the charts. Their Pharrell Williams collaboration "Get Lucky" hit No. 2 for six weeks back in 2013.

"Black Beatles" has now fallen to the No. 2 spot. The rest of the top five includes The Chainsmokers' "Closer," Bruno Mars' "24K Magic," and Zay Hilfigerrr and Zayion McCall's "Juju on That Beat."

Elsewhere on the chart, The Weeknd's other Starboy tracks continue to climb. The album's closing track that also features Daft Punk, "I Feel It Coming," jumped up to No. 25.

The Weeknd took to Instagram to share the news with his fans with the caption, "Happy Holidays." This has got to be the best holiday gift The Weeknd could've asked for besides his album debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 at the beginning of the month. Now he's got another No. 1 hit on his hands. Check out this week's full Hot 100 breakdown right here.
