Wale comes through Tuesday with "Folarin Like," his own spin on Nas and DJ Premier's classic record "Nas Is Like" (see what he did there?). The MMG rapper sounds right at home over the boom bap production as he flips clever sports metaphors and flexes on the competition with ease. "Folarin like a lot of artists father I/Think a lot of y'all been multiplying the prototype." 👀

Over the weekend, Wale made waves with the release of "Groundhog Day" which found him responding to J. Cole's "False Prophets." Many, included Wale, believed the new Cole record was in part directed at the D.C. rapper, though it appears there were no hard feelings about the back and forth as the two chopped it up at a college basketball game later that day.

One positive that may have come out of this is Cole seems to have put a battery in Wale's back, and based off "Folarin Like," he's taking no prisoners.

Wale went one step further and shared a sleek black and white video directed by Chop Mosley & Big Vic. for the new track, which you can watch above.
