Young Thug and 21 Savage are scheduled to wrap up their current run touring together on the HIHORSE'D tour Sunday night at New York’s Terminal 5. But from the looks of Young Thug’s latest Instagram post, they managed to squeeze in some time for at least one studio session and a video shoot while on the road.
In the preview, Thugger and Savage exchange verses as the expected stunting comes along with the visual. The one-minute snippet is the longest preview of the track thus far, and fans are already responding via Twitter and other social media. In the clip posted Saturday night from what appears to be an already-filmed video, Young Thug appears in front of a private jet with a fistful of money and a Styrofoam double cup in his other hand.
Both Young Thug and the video’s director Garfield Larmond have tagged the snippet with the word “Petty,” leading to speculation about a tentative title for the collaboration. At least one eager fan has already taken to Genius.com to try and decipher some of Thugger’s unintelligible lyrics from the snippet. Previous experience from both fans and detractors shows the task can be deceptively difficult.
