The Bronx-born rapper’s excellent February mixtape Artist, after his given name, made waves for standout singles like “My Shit,” and “Jungle.” He has the ego of a seasoned star but backs it up with flow and musicality, which makes sense when you see his influences run through Kanye’s Graduation, 50 Cent’sGet Rich or Die Trying and Usher’s Confessions. True to any self-promoting young rapper, he includes two of his own projects on the list of ten, one that isn’t even out yet. Gotta love that confidence.
