Divine Council has been making noise as a collective these past few months, and are taking advantage of their buzz by releasing singles by solo members. Silkmoney dropped "D.A.N." back in February; now it's Lord Linco's turn with "LOVE4ME," the first single from Love Hard, Die Young 2, the follow-up to the first tape of the same name. In an email, Linco explained the meaning behind the song and what to expect from the upcoming project:
"LOVE4ME" is the first song to drop from Love Hard, Die Young 2. Similar to the project, it's a twisted yet common hood love story coded by some R&B type shit for the shorties. LHDY2 is the sequel in the series I started in 2015 with songs like "Lateisha" and "Always Friends." Love and death are totally different but they still go hand-in-hand. You gotta die young to love hard because one is right around the corner from the other.
