Canadian slack rock king, Mac Demarco, is an extremely busy guy. Not only is the dude slated for a bunch of festival dates this year, but the 26-year-old British Columbia native is also a few weeks away from releasing his highly anticipated third studio album, This Old Dog. With a successful music career and a packed tour calendar, it shouldn’t shock anyone to learn that Demarco is currently looking for an assistant to help him remain organized and stay on top of scheduling. This all sounds par for the course, but fans of Mac know that the blue wave maestro isn’t about to hire any old civilian. According to a new job posting on the musician’s official fansite, you’ll need to be adept at generating dank memes and Mac-related GIFs.

Back in 2015, Mac’s fan club was launched under the guidance of his manager Michelle Cable and his mother, Agnes. The successful applicant will be lucky enough to work with the aforementioned duo exclusively. According to the online posting, assistants will need “experience with Mailchimp, Wordpress, and pay great attention to detail.” Mac’s team also states that the role is “perfect for a college student” and will require someone living in the New York area. Those interested in the job can send their resume and their “dankest meme” to sarah@panacherock.com. In the meantime, be sure to check out This Old Dog when it drops on May 5.
