Chris Rock really wants another OutKast album—just like the rest of us.
During an appearance on the Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning, the legendary comedian discussed his relationship with André 3000, and admitted to asking the artist to finally drop another project.
I did my ‘We need album’ […] speech. I did my part,” he revealed. When asked how André responds to those types of requests, Rock began laughing, insisting the OutKast member probably hears it all the time.
“He's like a hot chick. It's like telling Amber Rose about her curves. 'You don’t say? Oooh you think I'm attractive, huh?,’” Rock said. “[…] He’s bored out of his mind.”
In April of 2016, Rock (inadvertently) trolled OutKast fans by posting a group photo taken in the immediate wake of Phife Dawg's funeral that included him, André, Dave Chappelle, Jack White, and Jarobi White. He jokingly captioned the Instagram with: “hard at work on the new Andre 3000 album.” That's one cruel joke.
