The inaugural Fyre Festival promised two consecutive weekends of live music, gourmet meals, and luxury accommodations. But it turned out to be a wasteland of FEMA-style tents, mountains of trash, and feral dogs. Attendees shelled out up to $12,000 to essentially get stranded on the Bahamas without “adequate food, water, shelter, and medical care.”

Just days after the shit show went down, vlogger Austin Mills shared his footage from the festival’s opening weekend. And it’s clear things went south really fast. We’re talking airport delays, uncomfortable transportation, lost luggage, and a literal free for all when it came to securing a tent.

“This is insane. After having the flight delayed three hours—screeching [sic] hot plane,” Mills said in the video. “[…] Finally landed, then got on a hot magic school bus. It took us another 30 minutes to get here, and then they tried to get us to stay on the school bus. We had people, like, crying on our bus.”

Mills decided the scene was too hectic and uncomfortable, so he attempted to leave the Bahamas and head back to the States; however, many other attendees had the same idea, which caused even more chaos at the airport.

Fyre Festival organizers are now being sued for $100 million. The suit against Ja Rule, Billy McFarland, and Fyre Media, states the event was "nothing more than a get-rich-quick scam from the very beginning."
