The official Twitter account for a creme-filled snack cake company got a very special mention from Chance the Rapper Monday. In a tweet that has since been deleted, Hostess Snacks shared an image of a very Chance-esque 3 hat perched atop a box of apple streusel coffee cakes.
"How good is Chance the Snacker?" the tweet asked, and I am not making that up. "I'd say comparable to Apple Streusel Coffee Cakes."
Chance hit Hostess with a simple response, requesting they give him his coin.
Though Hostess' original tweet was later deleted, it was live long enough to inspire some passionate rebukes:
Previously, @Hostess_Snacks recommended shaving one's body using a razor outfitted with moisturizing Twinkies.
Hostess did not immediately respond to Complex's request for comment.
Sunday, Chance was the recipient of the Humanitarian Award at the 2017 BET Awards. In a special video message, former First Lady Michelle Obama joined Common in recounting Chance's charity efforts. In his moving acceptance speech, Chance expressed his desire to expand the success of his humanitarian initiatives beyond Chicago and into other areas around the world.
