Clairmont the Second isn't even out of his teens yet but the young multitalented artist and recent Polaris Prize long list nominee still feels nostalgic for the simpler times every now and then. In his new self-directed music video for his track "The Road," Clairmont reminisces of simpler times including "sitting with my little sister watching A Bug's Life/Toy Story on the VCR reciting the next line." The video is also peppered with other images of childish innocence including skateboaring and vintage N64 controllers.

"The Road" is from Clairmont's acclaimed album Quest For Milk and Honey which came out last year and which the young artist continues to promote on the road to the Polaris Prize short list announcement, which is due to happen next month. He's also established himself as a talented director as of late, having directed both this visual and the recently-released video for "44 Me" which was on our May Northern Touch list
