Katy Perry’s fifth studio album, Witness, is officially here—marking her first full-length release since 2013’s Prism.

The 32-year-old singer gave us our first taste of the project back in February with the release of its lead single "Chained to Rhythm," featuring Jamaican artist Skip Marley (grandson of legendary musician Bob Marley). It was a catchy tune about social activism and the issue of indifference, and was right in line with what she referred to as "purposeful pop"; however, the following singles seemed to stray from that theme. The follow-ups were "Bon Appétit" with Migos and the rumored Taylor Swift diss track "Swish Swish" featuring Nicki Minaj. It wasn’t completely clear what direction Katy would go in Witness, but she insisted it was a "beautiful" project that was "very empowering."

"I started making a record in June of last year. I’m really proud of it. It moves me. It makes me move. It’s revealing, very vulnerable, very empowering. But very raw in a beautiful way," she told Entertainment Weekly back in May. "I’ve surrendered. I’ve healed some of my issues with my family, with my relationships. Today I’m sober, but I don’t know about tomorrow! One day at a time, right? [Laughs] It’s all kind of beautiful."

You can listen to Witness now on Apple Music and purchase it on iTunes. You can also stream it below via Spotify.

Katy’s North American Witness Tour will kick off this September in Ohio and wrap up February of 2018 in Vancouver.
