Lil Wayne Promises to Bring Another Star-Studded Line-Up to Third Annual Lil Weezyana Fest

Lil Wayne announced the third annual Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans, which will take place in late August.

While fans continue to wait on the next project from Lil Wayne, he's all set to put on a hell of a show for some hometown fans. Wayne announced the third annual edition of Lil Weezyana Fest on his social media pages, confirming the festival will be back in New Orleans at Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square.

The 2017 edition of Lil Weezyana Fest will kick off on Friday, Aug. 25, and the guest list has yet to be confirmed. In the past, the festival has featured local artists and household names, including Mystikal, Migos, Yo Gotti, and Master P, and we've seen some serious talent grace the stage alongside Weezy. The Hot Boys reunion in year one was tremendous, and fans were treated to a full performance of Collegrove alongside 2 Chainz last year.

Unlike at some other festivals, the surprise guests have been no joke for Lil Weezyana, with artists as big as Drake popping in to help Wayne put on a show. If we had to take a wild guess, you might see another big collaboration on stage in 2017. In mid-May, T-Pain dropped the long awaited T-Wayne project the two recorded a decade ago, so maybe we could see them perform it live for the public for the very first time.

You'll have to sit tight and wait for at least some of the guests to be announced, but it's likely to be another star-studded affair, so hop on purchasing tickets now. If you can't make it, you should still be able to stream the concert through Tidal.
