At the time of this writing, I'm not sure if Lil Yachty knows about these claims from Memphis Ash, but I would imagine that when he does hear about what Ash is saying he did, he might look like the image from up above.

While Yachty's been in New York on a promo run to push his new album Teenage Emotions, it appears that Memphis Ash has been getting ready to allege that Yachty's "Peek-A-Boo" is a rip of his 2016 release "Pikachu." Why? Because Ash rhymed "Pikachu" with "peekaboo." Take a listen to the two tracks.

According to TMZ, Memphis Ash's lawyers sent cease and desist letters to Yachty, claiming the Atlanta rapper jacked Ash's verse and hook. Keep in mind the timing: Yachty's Teenage Emotions dropped last week and "Peek-A-Boo" has reached No. 78 on Billboard Hot 100 chart. TMZ states that Ash's lawyers gave Yachty 10 days to pay Ash the royalties he feels he is owed, which never happened, so their next step is to get "Peek-A-Boo" removed from all streaming services.

We've reached out to Lil Yachty's reps for comment, and will update if we hear anything.
