Rae Sremmurd brought their SremmLife 2 (Deluxe) single "Swang" to the Tonight Show Wednesday. The Roots joined Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi for the performance, giving the duo's Billboard Hot 100 hit a whole new energy.
The official "Swang" video, directed by Max Hliva, was released back in February and features a lot of cinematic depictions of golf:
"Swang" peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May. One month earlier, the track had been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.
Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi were recently announced as the new faces of Reebok's Classic Leather campaign. Just before hitting the stage at day two of the Governors Ball in New York City earlier this month, the duo spoke with Complex about the partnership. "Reebok saw that we had so much motherfucking style and swag, they wanted to work with us," Slim Jxmmi said.
"These guys are constantly pushing boundaries, which Reebok Classic is all about," Todd Krinsky, General Manager of Reebok Classic, toldBillboard of the deal. "Few artists so passionately embrace life and nonconformity like Rae Sremmurd, and we're excited to bring them into the Reebok Classic family."
