Though his sophomore album Big Fish Theory is right around the corner, Vince Staples has given fans another track to hold them over.

On Thursday night, the 23-year-old Long Beach rapper delivered “Rain Come Down,” the LP’s closing track featuring Ty Dolla Sign. The song marks the project’s third single, following “BagBak” and “Big Fish.” It also arrives less than a week after the release of Vince’s “Playboy” track with Tyga.

During an interview with Complex earlier this year, the rapper opened up about Big Fish Theory, explaining its title as well as its intended message.

“[The title of Big Fish Theory] encompasses things: being larger than life in a smaller world, so to say. How rappers are perceived and perceive themselves,” he said. “[…] I don't think this album was a learning process itself as far as the creation of it. I just think it was a culmination of things I had been learning over the past few years, and coming to an understanding. Often times, music becomes a coping mechanism for people.”

“Rain Come Down” is available on Apple Music and iTunes. You can also stream it below via Spotify.

Big Fish Theory will officially drop June 23 via Def Jam Records.
