Kevin Gates isn't a free man just yet, but that's not stopping his new music from making its way to the world. Produced by Millz, "No Love" is Gates's latest offering to fans patiently awaiting his expected release next year.

Gates doesn't waste any time addressing his current situation, opening the track with, "What a hell of a feeling, I'm living large/I'm a hell of a nigga, I'm still in charge/I can get you from here or behind the bars/Love me a bitch who gon' play her part."

Earlier this month, Gates's wife Dreka Gates announced on Twitter that he had given her full control of his new music—which Dreka admitted to be an intimidating task.

BTW working on Kevin's new project right now 😬and I'm not going to lie, I'm nervous as F b/c I'm not getting any input from him 😩 & he's (1)
(2) fully entrusted me w/everything so there's a lot of pressure! I respect real artists and their artistry and to be making ALL of the
(3) decisions is scary but rest assured the music is always fire🔥 as F! 😌

Gates is currently serving time in an Illinois jail. In March, he was in a Florida jail for allegedly kicking a woman at his concert. As he was being processed out for release, authorities discovered he had an outstanding warrant for felony gun possession in Illinois. Gates was re-arrested, then transferred to Illinois. The latest information about his potential release pointed toward June 2018, when he would be eligible for parole.
