Movies: It's official: Malin Akerman's replacing Lindsay Lohan in Inferno, the biopic about Linda Lovelace, the star of the porn classic Deep Throat. Apparently Lohan's drug/people problems were a little too similar to Lovelace's—either that or producers were worried she just wouldn't show up. [ABC News]

TV: Hurley returns! Sort of. Lovable Lost castmember Jorge Garcia is teaming with Lost producer J.J. Abrams for a Fox pilot about prisoners and guards who go missing off Alcatraz. Sounds like Lost with pretty pictures of San Francisco in the background, but whatevs, if it ain't broke don't fix it. [The Wrap]

World Affairs: A NATO official is claiming that kids in the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul, are safer than kids in New York City. We'll bet he changes his tune once the scourge of Four Loko is finally removed! [Huffington Post]

Politics: Former First Lady Barbara Bush tells Sarah Palin to stick it where the sun don't shine (for four months out of the year): Alaska! [CNN]

Comics: The live Batman show (called...wait for it...Batman Live) scheduled to start next July in Manchester, England looks like it's either going to be hot or a hot mess. Either way, the fanboys will be out in force. [Comics Alliance]
