Thus far the dancers of Storybook Burlesque have dressed up the Bible and William Shakespeare in pasties and g-strings for your pleasure and amusement. From the dustier shelves in the library they're proceeding straight to the children's section to give you Green Eggs and Ham...with breasts. The celebrated work of Dr. Seuss will be playfully warped this Thursday, made far sexier than anything the Cat in the Hat has ever before inspired. Storybook Burlesque promises a "lascivious Lorax" and a "sexy Sam I Am." From 8 to 11 p.m. expect things to get all kinds of weird and hot. There's talk of a silk trapeze. Also, whimsy. Insert the joke about "the places you'll go" here.
