It's Official: "Walking Dead" Video Game Coming For Your Braaaaaains

We speculated last month that this was happening, and now it is! We're incredible, it's true.

Last October, The Walking Dead was ported from comic book to AMC, and was the network's most-watched premiere episode ever, with 5.3 million people tuning in.  And now, just as we surmised, Telltale Games has announced that they have struck a “multi-year, multi-platform, multi-title” deal with Robert Kirkman (writer of the comic book) to create The Walking Dead video games. Initial reactions may include groans about yet more zombie video games--but if they do the comics (and the TV series) justice, they could be inspired pieces of gaming. There aren’t any more details to reveal, but the zombie infestation is said to begin in the fourth quarter of this year.  Until then you can sink your rotting claws into the first season of The Walking Dead—available on DVD and Blu-ray March 8—or the second season, set to debut in October.
