The Guinness World Records 2011 Gamer's Edition came out last month and has over 200 pages of gaming records and history inside. One of the new entries in the 2011 edition is agile-fingered Annie Leung—a.k.a. Complex pal Ecstasy—who now holds the female record for single track high score on Guitar Hero III. Ms. Leung attained the record by beating Dragonforce's insane “Through the Fire and Flames” on the expert difficulty setting and racking up 789,349 points in the process.
Annie claims that it's difficult being a female gamer because guys don’t take them seriously and they have to deal with harassment. Not that calling yourself "Ecstasy" and playing in a mini-skirt has anything to do with that. Love ya, Annie! [via OC Weekly]
