We have been without the famously rich singing voice of Nate Dogg for a little over a month now. Hooks will never be the same, and radio crossovers may come less frequently. At the very least, we are without a peerless regulator. To acknowledge music's loss, Seattle's the Crocodile hosts a tribute to the legend on Wednesday, the twentieth day of the fourth month.
A secret roster of Seattle emcees will pay homage to the man, and DJs will rotate his classics. Half of the evening's profits will go toward Nate Dogg's official memorial trust. Busters steer clear. That's how Nate would've wanted it.
