Scream’s Ghostface killers have great taste in women—even if they do typically stab them to death. In the horror franchise’s three previous movies, the masked murderers caught the hot bodies of Rose McGowan, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Jenny McCarthy. For Scream 4, director Wes Craven tops them all with Marielle Jaffe, an adventurous 21-year-old model-turned-actress who’s easily the sexiest Scream queen yet. We recently chopped it up with her about scary movies and what it takes to make her heart race.

Complex: Please say you survive well into Scream 4. If not, I’ll demand a refund.

Marielle Jaffe: I can’t tell you anything! I’ll have Ghostface straight show up at my door, knocking, with a contract—not a knife—in his hand, ready to sue me for everything that I’m worth.

Your character, Olivia Morris, is described as the “hot girl.” So, basically, you played yourself.

Marielle Jaffe: Well, I am a girly-girl in a lot of ways, but I’m a tomboy at heart. I don’t really picture Olivia trying to skydive or bungee-jump, which I’ve done recently.

That’s pretty fearless. Do horror movies scare you?

Marielle Jaffe: Actually, I used to be a horror-movie fanatic. I’d go to Blockbuster and grab whichever horror movie had the creepiest cover. But they don’t really scare me anymore. I laugh at them sometimes now.

Skydiving? Laughing at horror flicks? OK, now I’m intimidated.

Marielle Jaffe: [Laughs.] It’s cool for me, but not for guys. Guys get excited bringing girls to scary movies, knowing the girls will latch on to them. But that won’t happen with me.

So, what kind of guy would you latch onto?

Marielle Jaffe: Being an outdoors type and a thrill-seeker myself, I definitely want to connect with that type of guy. It’s not hard to find guys like that. It’s more of a stretch for a guy to find a girl who’s into those things.

I shouldn’t admit that I’m afraid of heights, huh? Damn, too late!

Marielle Jaffe: [Laughs.] We can change that, though. Get on a plane to L.A. and let’s go bungee-jump together!

Sold. When’s the next flight out?
