There may not be any football on during the fall, but that doesn't mean that you can't get your pigskin fix elsewhere. Like HBO! The network responsible for Hard Knocks (if a strike doesn't happen, expect to see Tampa Bay highlighted during the next season) is bringing the life of Joe Namath to the small screen.
The former New York Jet icon will get his own documentary this fall, following a brief stint on the Jets-led version of Hard Knocks last year. Between his on-field glory and off-field stumbles, Namath is ripe for a documentarian's eye. Let's hope this one isn't our only chance at seeing football on television in the fall, though.
