As hard as this may be to believe, NBC has renewed Chuck for a fifth and final season. That's right: your favorite Buy More Nerd Herder has lived to spy another day, all while continuing his Hart to Hart-y relationship with Sarah.
The renewal seemed unlikely, as Chuck saw series low ratings for most of its fourth campaign, but in a show of good faith to a loyal fan base (and because they don't have many other dramas on the schedule; see you never, The Event), NBC decided to return the show for 13-episodes in an effort to wrap the storyline up.
Fans have not been encouraged to celebrate with a sandwich from Subway, but there are worse ways to pay tribute.
