Best Buy Introduces Music Cloud Service

The big-box retailer joins the likes of Amazon, Apple, and Sony.

With the consumer electronics brick-and-mortar game already on lock, Best Buy continues its online forays with its very own, flavor-of-the-month streaming music cloud apps for desktop and mobile.

While BB’s service only allows you to access and stream your own iTunes library—uploading via your system files and folders won’t work—playlist integration and even offline connectivity of up to one song, artist, or playlist are some of the other cool features.

It certainly pales in comparison to Sony’s newly launched “Music Unlimited,” but for only $4—a “Lite” version is even free—it isn’t a bad bet.

The service is currenlty available for BlackBerry and Android platforms. Sign up here.
