Newsarama has posted the first clear image of the new Justice League that will debut at the end of August during DC Comics’ company-wide reboot. The pic was found on the 'Toon Tumblers Facebook and, from the looks of it, the main Justice League team will consist of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern, and Cyborg. You can also see Green Arrow, the Atom, Hawkman, and others adorning the sides of the image. It remains to be seen what role those characters will play in the book, which is being written by Geoff Johns with art by Jim Lee.

There have been other pictures floating around the Internet of these new DC costumes, but this is the most clear, and polished, one yet. It’s obvious that the company is going for a more modern (re: armored) look for the costumes and they all seem to be following a similar design motif.

Details are still sketchy as to what will actually change about each of the characters after the reboot. It is known, however, that Bruce Wayne will once again be the sole Batman in the DC Universe and Superman is going to be presented as much younger than he was before. We’ll find out if any of these changes actually push DC into the right direction once Justice League #1 gets released on August 31.
