Little is known at the moment about his character, but Variety reports that Edward Norton is in negotiations to handle the bad guy duties in The Bourne Legacy, a reboot of sorts that won't star Matt Damon; now, Jeremy Rennerwill play the hero.
The American History X star is no stranger to taking on darker roles (also think: Primal Fear, Fight Club), so this seems like a great casting call.
