It looks like Helena Bonham Carter will star opposite Johnny Depp once again — but this time it won't be in a Tim Burton movie. The BAFTA-winning actress is now in talks to partner with her frequent collaborator and Armie Hammer (The Social Network) in The Lone Ranger.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bonham Carter is tapped to play the owner of a brothel. If she does sign up, she'll join Dwight Yoakam and Barry Pepper in the film, which will be directed by Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean). The Lone Ranger will mark the fourth time that Bonham Carter has worked with Johnny Depp, after sharing billing in Sweeney Todd, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Corpse Bride.

The actress is currently enjoying her starring role as Bellatrix LeStrange in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and received nominations for Best Supporting Actress, Screen Actors Guild, and Critics' Choice Movie Awards for her role in The King's Speech.

Filming is scheduled to begin in mid-October in New Mexico and will hit theaters on December 21, 2012.
