Here is some news that literally made us stop playing Batman: Arkham Asylum once it came across our news feed. Rocksteady's Dax Ginn, who is pretty outspoken already, dropped a bat-bomb at this weekend's PAX event in Seattle. In the video clip above, courtesy of GameTrailers, the Marketing Manager maniac laid out the goodies for what happens when you beat Batman: Arkham City.

"When you finish, you can then restart with all of the gadgets and all of the upgrades from the first playthrough, but you're going to need them in the second playthrough because all of the enemy configurations have change," Ginn says. Which means that all the tutorials, those helpful blue lightning bolts that pop up when guys are about to hit you, and enemy fighting tactics will be harder on the second go-around. If you've played the first Batman game, then you'll know how important it will be to read the animations of your enemy.

The guys over at Rocksteady are really trying to up the ante in the replay department. So, with that said, we'll ask you the question that Dax and co. are really asking: "Are you the Dark Knight? Have you got what it takes?" Speak your piece in the comments section below.

Batman: Arkham City will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 18.
