It seems that the second serving of John Singleton's Abduction movie is still interested in trying to set up Taylor Lautner as the tween-teen version of Jason Bourne. Do you remember The Double 0 Kid starring Corey Haim? Well, this film is much like that, but funny for all the wrong reasons. For those unfamiliar with the plot, the film find the buff Twilight star as a young man who's out to uncover the truth as to who he really is after his spy parents are mysteriously murdered.

While the first trailer focused on telling the story, this one zips across the screen like a fast-cut TV spot that's very heavy on the action, and light on dialogue. Lionsgate is getting ready to count the dough, but we're still having trouble taking Lautner seriously as an action star.

Directed by John Singleton, Abduction stars the aforementioned Launter, Lily Collins, Sigourney Weaver, Danny Glover, Alfred Molina, Maria Bello, and an impressive supporting cast. The film opens in theaters nationwide on September 23.
