First Look: See Michael Shannon's Real "General Zod" Costume

Judging from earlier photos we've seen of Michael Shannon as General Zod in Man of Steel, he would be rocking a rather humiliating motion-capture suit during filming. But now, new photos from the set of Zack Snyder's Superman flick showcase the actor wearing a more traditional costume, which you can see below.

The Boardwalk Empire and Revolutionary Road star was photographed in these shots, which were posted to an unofficial Facebook page dedicated to the movie. As you can see for yourself, there are no sensors anywhere to be found on the sleek suit that seems to share only its black color with the Terence Stamp original costume. The outfit has more in common with Henry Cavill's costume, which we've seen in both official and unofficial shots. 

If the designers for Shannon's villain-wares are smart, they won't add a cape or a chest emblem, and ensure audiences a truly badass fashion statement.
