Occupy Wall Street Protester Depicts Jay-Z as "Scrooge" With Sculpture

More shots at the throne.

Occupy Wall Street doesn't take kindly to anyone who can plank on a million, but won't contribute to their cause after trying to eat off of it.

Protesters are still unhappy that Rocawear's "Occupy All Streets" t-shirts aren't lending any financial support to the movement, so now they're taking aim at Jay-Z. The photo on the right is a sculpture, courtesy of Daniel Edwards, that paints Jay as a Scrooge-like figure.

Edwards had this to say about his work: "I think Jay-Z has made himself a face of [the] Wall Street that Occupiers are protesting against. Maybe Jay-Z is striving to be in the one percent? Which is why I chose the composition of a totem pole because I thought it would resemble the number one. Rap stars who turn 'Scrooge' have to suffer some damage to their street credibility."

The dollar sign chain is funny, but is anyone else just a little bit bothered by this semi-slave depiction of Jay? We get it, but still....
