According to Sega West VP of marketing Gary Knight, Platinum Games' upcoming brawler Anarchy Reigns has been delayed again: The game is now set to release on July 3rd in the US.

The delay shouldn't come as much surprise, considering the game's lack of publicity in the weeks leading up to it's previous release date in January, as well as developer Platinum Games' newly announced involvement with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

"Anarchy Reigns brings a new take to the brawler genre and we've decided to take a little more time to deliver the full knockout punch," says Knight.

Still, This is the game's second substansial delay: It was originally supposed to be released last May, but was delayed until January 2012. Let's hope the extra year was worth it.
