Because The Club just won’t do, researchers at the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology in Tokyo have developed a new anti-theft system for cars involving bucket seats that identify butt prints.

The seats are lined with 360 pressure sensors that measure the force applied to the seat by your ass, information that is then sent to a laptop to determine whether that particular ass is allowed to start the car.

Dealing mostly with weight, it’s unclear as to how the system is affected by variables such as weight loss, dress, or the changing contents of one’s back pockets.
