Hybrid cars, by and large, are hideously unattractive. Therefore, to glam up its CT hybrid and show off just how recyclable the car is (90 percent!), Lexus turned to designers to fashion clothing and accessories from car parts.

Organic womenswear designer John Patrick crafted a trench coat and bag from leather seat covers and floor mats, shoemaker Alejandro Ingelmo used leather trim for some heels, jewelry designer Eddie Borgo constructed pieces from clamps and bearings, and some other dude named Moss Lipow used pieces of a transmission to make some Cleopatra-style headwear.
