42-year-old Dante Owens of Lynwood, Illinois got slapped with a DUI yesterday morning after calling Illinois State Police to inform them that he was lost, out of gas and drunk. While continuing to dig his own grave, Owens told them he didn't remember where he came from or where he was pathetically attempting to go.

Police traced the call, and  soon found him in his stalled vehicle with the damn keys still in the ignition. After failing sobriety tests, he was cuffed for Driving Under the Influence in one of the easiest-yet still annoying-arrests you can imagine.

Although Owens didn't drink or drive responsibly, the odds of him making it home weren't in his favor, so he might've done the right thing by telling on himself.
