There we were, studiously engaged with the above video, thinking what a great movie it would make, happy someone had bothered to take a serious, gritty angle on Valve's Left 4 Dead series. Then—spoilers!—the Master Chief, Ghost, Scorpion and some Gears showed up, and we realized this short film adaptation of a video game would be best served by being turned back into a video game.
The film itself is gorgeous (though we always imagined Master Chief would be taller), but we just can't help but imagine what it would be like to play this game. How would you like a Smash Bros.-style zombie shooter with characters from every Blockbuster game from the last decade? It would be the ultimate gamer circle-jerk, and not in a bad way, right?
