Newt Gingrich Tells Gay People To Vote For Obama

This race for the GOP nomination is even better than reality television.

None

They say honesty's the best policy, and clearly Newt Gingrich is taking that statement to heart - the Republican presidental candidate hopeful recently told a gay man in Iowa that he'd prefer gay people just vote for Obama.

Iowa resident Scott Arnold broke the news to the Des Moines Register, saying, "I asked him if he's elected, how does he plan to engage gay Americans. How are we to support him? And he told me to support Obama."

Considering that Gingrich just dropped 15 percent in the polls, he probably won't have any trouble making that wish come true. The way this is going, it doesn't look like anyone will vote for him at all! They'll just troll him instead - NY Mag reported today that the domain NewtGingrich.com was purchased by the progressive American Bridge 21st Century PAC, and set up to redirect to a myriad of sites, including a list of the politican's most embarassing moments, Freddie Mac, Tiffany and Co., and a YouTube video of Gingrich chumming it up with democrat Nancy Pelosi.

Is it just us, or is this race is shaping up to be more entertaining than anything on reality television?
