A disgraced Los Angeles County deputy turned himself in yesterday for knowingly sneaking heroin into the courthouse jail back in 2010. The vessel used to smuggle the dope? A bean and cheese burrito.
27-year-old Henry Marin pleaded not guilty to charges of bringing drugs to the jail and conspiring to commit a crime, even though a woman says she was told to slide him the smack-filled meal on the low. So much for being above the law.
Although Marin was fired, he made his $25,000 bail and is currently a free man.If you're ever out West and you have a burrito so good that you're convinced it has drugs in it, it just might.
That heroin in the burrito above is from a previous crime, but apparently this is common practice.
