Double Fine's Kickstarter is now sitting comfortable above $2 million, more than five times their original goal, and Tim Schafer must be beside himself. To thank fans, he's revealed a few new reward tiers for backers, and released this 35-minute video of a conversation between himself and Ron Gilbert.

Schilbert is one of the classic bromances in gaming. Gilbert gave Schafer his first job at LucasArts, and the two worked on the original Monkey Island together. The rest is history; watching the two of them shoot the shit about adventure games is like watching Elvis and the Beatles have a casual conversation about rock and roll.

The new reward tiers for the Kickstarter include a digital soundtrack for the documentary that's being made of the game's development, a special edition with a Blu-ray or DVD of the film, and "The Double Fine Adventure Book" in physical or digital format.
