DS hit Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is leaving its dual-screen roots behind and hitting iOS some time tonight (we checked the US store—it's not there yet, though some regions have already gotten it). Ghost Trick is another title from lauded Ace Attorney creator Shu Takumi, so there's reason to get excited if you never played it on DS.

It follows the shenanigans of Sissel, a ghost who's—you guessed it—also a detective. He has plenty of mystery-solving "tricks" up his incorporeal sleeves, including possessing inanimate objects and passing through walls and such. Like the Ace Attorney games on iOS, the first two chapters will be free and the rest will be available as in-app purchases.

Have you played Ghost Trick already? Missed it on DS and excited to pick it up on your iPhone? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter.
