They're all besties in public, but maybe Katy Perry isn't such a big fan of her pop peers. Or at the very least not a huge fan of their collaborations.

There are plans in the works for Perry to duet with her gal pal Rihanna, but in an interview with BBC Radio 1, she explained what the holdup is, and kinda sorta threw a shot at Beyonce and Shakira in the process.

"I want it to be like that Eurythmics and Aretha Franklin song 'Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves,'" she said of the planned duet. "Not 'Beautiful Liar.' How disappointed would you be if that song came out and it's no good? Sometimes you have to wait for greatness."

We guess Perry thinks "Beautiful Liar" didn't meet its expectations, and doesn't want to suffer the same fate.

"We've collaborated on a lot of things, but just not songs yet," she said. "It's one of those things that's got so much build up that we have to deliver."
