New Images From "The Avengers" Hit The Net

Despite the big opening by The Hunger Games this weekend, the summer blockbuster season doesn't officially begin until The Avengers gets released on May 4. Marvel's superhero epic is primed to be one of the biggest movies of the year, and there is little doubt that it will shatter some box office records along the way.

To hold fans over until Earth's Mightiest Heroes hit the big screen, MovieZine has posted 10 new images from the movie. There might not be any big plot points or action scenes revealed here, but we do get a nice look at a very somber looking Captain America and an absolutely fierce glimpse at Loki. Oh, and Scarlett Johansson doesn't look too bad either.
