We didn't want to believe it, but it's seeming more and more likely that next season of 30 Rock will be the last. That's bad news in itself, but thanks to Deadline, we've got something even worse to add to it: Not only will it probably be the end of the series, but NBC will also probably just order about 13 or 14 episodes of it, making for a shortened seventh and final season.

Even worse, they add: "like 30 Rock, all returning NBC comedy series are likely to get short orders. That would save some coin and allow NBC to pick up more new comedies." AKA, less episodes of Parks and Recreation and Community too, assuming they both get renewed.

NBC better know what they're doing, because this sounds pretty bad.
