This summer, DC Entertainment will release Before Watchmen, a comic book project that will revisit the Watchmen universe that Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons created back in 1986. The controversial event will include seven interconnected prequel miniseries designed to fill in the blanks leading up to the original story. This project is over two decades in the making, and it’s sure to become one of the most talked-about comics of the year.

One of the seven miniseries planned for the event is Before Watchmen: Nite Owl, written by J. Michael Straczynski with art by Andy and Joe Kubert. It will chronicle the early days of the ornithologically obsessed vigilante known as Nite Owl, aka Dan Dreiberg, who was one of the central figures from Moore’s original story.

Now, courtesy of DC Entertainment, we’re happy to exclusively reveal the cover for Before Watchmen: Nite Owl #2, illustrated by Joe and Andy Kubert. Check it out below!
